The Secret GF

Full Brand Redesign & Product Label Design

When Monette approached me with a request to come up with a new look for her gluten-free flour business, I couldn't get started fast enough. She wanted her company to not only support a great product, but to connect with her customers in a way that felt personal to her. We came up with a look that was fresh, eye-catching and cheeky.

Working with Alessandra was such a pleasure! When I first brought the project of Not Your Mama's Flour to her, she was immediately excited to jump right in and help me achieve my vision. She understood what I was going after, and gave me multiple concepts to choose from, which we then refined together into the final product. Alessandra is professional, creative, passionate, open to challenges, and overall just wonderful at what she does!

Work Shift Happens

Logo Exploratory and Creative Direction

Deborah and Kathleen set out to create a hub for novice remote workers, which would include seminars, tutorials, online events and additional resources. They needed a logo that would match the vibrancy and ease of the website they were building, with an emphasis on accessibility and interconnectivity.

At our initial meeting with Alessandra, we shared our objectives for our brand personality, ideal image, and the core values from which we launched our new business. Within a tight timeframe, she and her team developed our logo designs, and showed that they understood our vision. We added a challenge midstream. Before the initial logo designs were delivered, we changed the name of our business (work shift really does happen!)  Of course, our delivery timeline was still fixed. Through Alessandra's leadership, and flexibility, we received exactly what we were looking for – on time, on target, and within the estimated budget.

Okay, Spill

Logo Exploratory and Creative Direction

Okay, Spill is an advice column with a unique twist. Rather than your traditional "Dear XYZ" format, Okay, Spill creates a unique, online social experience more akin to a therapeutic happy hour with friends or a lengthy catchup at your favorite local coffeeshop, only anonymously. The blog is written and managed by yours truly and her mother, partner-in-crime, more affectionately known as Mother Teresa. We wanted the brand to reflect the way we approach relationships—honestly, daringly, and enthusiastically.
